The Digital Punch Card


The digital punch card feature allows you to sell rounds of golf and other items in bulk by loading a "punch" for that item on the loyalty member's card. Punches are tracked digitally, allowing you to easily and securely sell the item through your course website, through the online member portal, or by email campaigns.

The digital punch card is a great way to extend your pro shop beyond your property. Members can pre-purchase rounds of golf and load it on their loyalty card at any time, even at night when your course is closed. As with all other components of the Course Rewards loyalty system, you can see the effectiveness of your program using our state of the art reporting and analytics features.
 
Define Available Punch Card Items And Establish Price & Discount Tiers
Use our online course management software to define the punch card items that are available to your loyalty program members. You may configure any redemption item (those that can be redeemed using earned rewards points) to also be a punch card item, thereby allowing your program members to either earn points towards that item or to simply purchase that item.

You can configure the price for each punch card item and optionally provide for price-breaks when members purchase in bulk. You can assign a punch card item to a specific category of members, meaning that you can choose to sell rounds of golf or any other punch card item at a different price to those members that have also purchased a member benefits (discount) card. The Course Rewards system gives you amazing flexibility!
 
Specify the Time Frame When The Punch Is Available
If your course has seasonal pricing, you can configure each punch card item to only be available for both purchase and use during the specified time period. This means that you do not have to worry about pre-selling bulk rounds of golf during your slow season that will clog up your tee sheet during your busy times!

As with the rewards program of the Course Rewards system, a loyalty club member has access to a customized member portal which allows him to manage his own account, including the ability to re-load his loyalty card with punch card items. Punch card items are purchased securely through a trusted partner in PayPal.

Once you have defined the punch card items, these show in the member portal and are available for purchase based on the pricing and discount tiers that you defined (see left)...all of this takes just minutes without any additional programming or hassle on your part! Completing the PayPal transaction will load the punch card items on the member's loyalty card.

When the member comes to your golf course and you swipe the member's card, you will see a punch redemption notice that you can convert into a redemption coupon that can be placed in the cash register.
